Magical, Mystical, and So Much Fun!

I'm really enjoying this series! Moons & The Case of the Missing Day is a wonderful follow-up to the first book, filled with charm, magic, and just the right amount of cozy mystery. The story picks up around Ostara, and the New Age shop setting continues to be such a fun and unique backdrop for the Moons & Runes Private Investigators.

I listened to the audio version, and narrator Mary Phillips is absolutely fantastic. She brings the characters to life with warmth and personality, making this series even more enjoyable. Her narration adds a magical touch that perfectly suits the tone and spirit of the story.

The mystery in this one has a bit more tension than the last, and I liked seeing the characters grow more confident in their roles as detectives. Thea's feelings for Jeremy are still a slow burn, and the emotional depth adds another layer to the plot. Without giving anything away, the twist took me by surprise.

If you love light urban fantasy with a spiritual twist, strong friendships, and a touch of romance, this series is such a treat. I can’t wait to see what’s next for Thea and her magical crew!

Great twists. Keeps you engaged. Lovable characters. An enjoyable listen! Although this is part of series, I believe, it could stand alone.

Time Lost

I enjoyed book two of the "Moons & Runes Private Investigators" series as much as the first one. A woman engaged Jeremy's fledging private investigative business to find out what happened after she woke up in a strange place not knowing how she got there. I liked all the twists and turns. The characters' appeal continued to grow as the story unfolded. I'm looking forward to the next book in the series. Mary Phillips' narration was great, and her performance enhanced the story's entertainment. I was given a free copy of the audiobook, and I have voluntarily posted this review which included my opinions.

I can't wait for book 3

They left this book on a major cliffhanger. After listening to book 1 and being fully invested in these characters, it's left me a little empty inside. Oh Doc, I'll wait for you!

I love how the author's mind works, and how well she develops her characters. She also depicts her characters. I'm left, at the end of this book) dying a little inside because I don't have the next installment and I don't want the characters to leave; I miss them.

Keep making these wonderful books, you are a talented author and I'm glad to have found you. I'd like to thank the author for the pleausre of reading this book in exhhange for an honest review.

New Cases and Journeys

Moons & Runes Private Investigators: The Case of the Missing Day is a phenomenal read that will take on a journey of their first official case before the agency even opens. I am truly enjoying this series. With each book, the characters get stronger, and their bonds of friendship solidify into solidarity. There is a tough spot in the book when a founding member is hurt while on an investigation, but they pull it together and solve the case. No spoilers, sorry.
The writing is creative and descriptive with hints of humor. The story is action-packed, well thought out, and suspenseful. I enjoyed this thrill ride from the beginning to the end, especially the three new members. I highly recommend this book if you love mystery, suspense, magic, action, humor, with maybe a budding romance thrown in as a cherry on top.
