Cute Christmassy modern Cinderella retelling!

I loved that the evil stepsisters belonged to the “prince”. That was a nice twist on on the Cinderella story.

Christmas Ella by Angela Ruth Strong has all the feel -goods, humor, and conflict I expect from Strong. The story captivated me from start to finish, the last sentence as satisfying as the first. Ella is believable, and Paxton is dreamy! *Sigh*
Hilarey Johnson does a great job with different voices, and I especially love her bored, “in control” voice for Paxton’s mother. Johnson has the perfect voice for a light, fun, story!
