This was so good

Voice acting was phenomenal and the story kept me engaged. The end had my cheeks in pain from how much I smiled

The title of this book says it all

I forgot how good and tragic this story is. Asher (20) & Eli (17) fall in love and kiss. When Eli’s brother, Marcus (also Asher’s best friend), dies in a freak accident with Asher present, Asher decides to leave his life and Eli behind in order to protect Eli.
Every year, Asher sends Eli a birthday texts.
6 years later, they end up at Black Diamond together. I first read this book and then listened to the audio. The writing was amazing and the narrators performed it beautifully. I’m glad these broken boys get their HEA. I’ve enjoyed this entire author collaboration but this book is definitely one of my favorites.

Wow this was awesome. Just spend the credit already. This resonates with me. I cried and I laughed.

I really enjoyed the determination of the characters to change their Loved ones perspective.

There are some great moments where the main characters interact with each other. I also enjoyed the way this story showed that if it isn’t possible to thrive with the family you are born into. They may only off pain therefore you could make up a chosen family of friends you Love and who Love and support you.

Loved this story and the narrators

Great storyline with heart swelling moments and definitely tears. I lost count of the number of times I either cried, or flat out laughed out loud. Leaves me hoping for a continuation of the story line or to read about the characters in another title from the author and the narrators. Super great book!
