Best book on prayer

Practical, yet engaging. Not stale. Vibrant, wooing you like a song with a captivating melody you’ve never heard before. Honestly, the first book on prayer I have ever actually finished. And enjoyed. I feel empowered to actually talk to God. To not feel like I have all these formulas I have to follow or I might get it wrong. I can just come like a child and talk to my Dad. Thank you to Paul Miller for sharing and being vulnerable in telling your story, especially the challenges of parenting a special needs child. I feel hope in talking with my Dad about my own struggles.

Tools for beginning your praying life.

This audiobook was easy to listen to, when traveling and listening I always wanted to listen longer when my travel time didn’t permit it. This left you eager to get back to the book as soon as possible. Not all books have been like that, some you have to first yourself back to our you look for other books to listen to before finishing this one. Definitely not the case with this book.

It is speaking to me.

I got four hours left and he is hitting almost if not all every question or feeling I have had. I am already wanting to listen to it again! Very insightful and interesting. I am wanting to listen more and more and feel like his prayer advice will bring me closer to God.
