I loved the author's skill and unique approach. This was a passionate , intriguing,, well written story and I can hardly wait for book 2.

A decent first book

The story was ok. Overall the narrator was good. He has some mispronunciation of words, and other words (like make instead of take) were clearly misspoken. A better editor would have caught all the errors.
Looking forward to seeing how this author blossoms in their writing.
I will give book 2 a chance. Yet, this book is not 5 stars or credit worthy.

SO GOOD!!!

I consume historical romances like some consume air. I had never read any of this author, but decided to take a chance. So worth it!! This is the first book in a long, long time that has truly surprised me and kept me on edge until the very end. It still has all of the fairytale romance and steaminess that I love - but with a fresh new take! Just read it already.

I absolutely loved Notorious - A Rake Regency Romance by Katherine Harlow! I was so enamored with thethis audiobook that I was quickly swept away into the world of the Viscount Rochford and Miss Penelope Stratton. The book is not only a great example of a regency romance, but a great example of how a writer can make a hero with a dark energy come around. Harley Roberts, elevated the book to another level as he was able to engage the listener and make it a rather tantalizing experience. I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a romance novel with a bit of a dark twist.

Kept me enthralled until the very end

Great story arc and the narration is wonderful too. I’m looking forward to more from this author!!
