Good culmination at the end.

I have loved all the book till here. this one was not my favorite (not saying it was bad), probably due to the out of nowhere side stories and new characters. now they do all meet up at the end, tie off some loose ends, fill in a few holes, and make sense. I had a hard time at the beginning but as it went along I was able to get in to it. only thing I did not like was how they felt with Darkwing. that was a bit of a let down. other then that, it was good in my opinion. can't wait to listen to the rest.

Just as great as the test

loved the humor in this one. little of adventure as usual. love the new characters. I can't wait to get into book 9 and 10.

Nice Addition

I appreciate the leap of faith needed to write an entire book around brand new characters… rather than “clunkily” shove them into the storyline in the books to come. The slight nods to the main story to keep with the timeline was also appreciated.
Good characters and story along with it.
I did find myself zoning out and having to rewind occasionally because the meter felt lost. Possibly because I had become so entwined in the previous story, and now had little report with the current characters.
It’s worth the listen for sure.
Having said that… the narrator is amazing. She is capable of allowing the listener to follow who is speaking very easily. But… I don’t know if this has been mentioned in other reviews… ELTZ is not a word. The word is “else”. And every time she says “eltz”, my brain just cringes.
If I could give her a 4.5, I would.

A wonderful way to exit thus world and enjoy another.

The story telling of this author is epic. His grasp of the strange world , he has created and his peoples is wonderful. I'm so grateful that he is allowed me to participate in this wonderful saga.And it looked forward to the next book.
