I want to be friends with our heroine!

First, I have to say I really liked the automated voice! I have a hearing problem and not having to decipher someone’s accent is a real pleasure. Now the story; this is the first J. R. Rain that I have read (I know right?) but it certainly will not be the last. I now have to go back a read all the 4 books that came before this one because it was so much FUN! If like me you somehow missed this incredible author too, please do yourself a huge favor and get your hands on anything she/he has written (I think I would read her grocery list too) and you absolutely are in for a treat!

The Samantha Moon books have gotten less and less interesting while the quality of the writing has become more and more Indifferent. It's as if the author no longer really cares whether the books are meeting the expectations of the readers or not. If there were a good narrator for this particular book it might make a difference. An experienced narrator with The ability to make the story come alive and add nuance to each character would help immensely. The virtual voice simply is not up to the task. I finally just dozed off and couldn't finish. Too bad, used to be a pretty good series.
