I loved the story and her determination, but need to support live artists - not AI!

In a world where talented performers are struggling to be given a chance to perform, I can't support the substitution of the robotic voice to take away from the human performance. I pray that Audible continues to support the talented human voice over a computer generated one!

Exceptionally written story

Kit always put God first and turned to Him in times of need. How much better would our lives be if we did the same. I can't wait for the rest of the series.

What Fun!!

Historical-type story with big believable characters and chuckles as well as identity-promoting Women finding their place in the proverbial “man’s” world. Loved every word!!

Determination

Excellent character development and wonderful suspense. So glad the villain got his due!! Such determination for justice!

My first artificial voice narrator

I did not expect to like this at all because of the artificial narrator but I was curious and it was included in my subscription so I decided to try it. I've got to say, I was pleasantly surprised! The artificial voice was pleasant and well modulated. There was not a lot of difference between character voices and the emotions we're not emphasized at times as they should be. But overall, it was much better than a lot of the narrators I've listened to. I would listen to this automated voice anytime. The story line was very good. So many of the Christian fiction books are such silly romances that you could listen to them with half your brain cells and be just fine. This story was actually interesting! I have listened to the first five books in the series so far and have enjoyed them all.
