Lutz is finally on a path of salvation, thanks to Miri and the Goddess. But clearing his name won't be an easy task, and it's only one of many obstacles sitting in his path.

He was given a clear mission by the Goddess. To seek out the Dragon Lord and gain access to the Network Node that he rules over. With a goal in front of him, Lutz and the girls depart to the south, toward the Dragon Isles. But first, they have to pass through Belfast, a kingdom of beastkin. And Alisha's home country.

As expected, trouble has a way of finding Lutz, no matter where he goes. And now that he's walking the path of a true hero, he can't rely on his False Hero persona to solve the problems in Belfast.

I have enjoyed all the False Hero books. Especially this one about the elves and the secrets behind who the Goddess is and the story behind why the False Hero is a Hero at all. It's a little confusing about his immortality and these access computers. At least the writer is trying to explain why the Goddess is not all powerful and why the Hero is strong and has the blessing of the Goddess. I'm still confused about the Demon Lord being more powerful than everyone including the Goddess. I guess the author wanted some impossibly strong villain for some reason.

Very Entertaining Story that evolves slowly

OMG! How is there no book 9 on audio yet 😭. such a great narrator for this series. captures all emotions and accents perfectly! having Alexa read it to me from my Kindle isn't even worth the comparison. whyyyyyy....Love this series... also needs an anime hahah... I'd binge it ALL! several times.

Life got in the way and I honestly forgot all about it. I went back to listen to books 6 and 7 before starting this one. I have been enjoying the overall story quite a bit. the writing is pretty good and the narrator has delivered quite performance. I'm looking forward to the next book receiving the audio treatment. with that I will simply say Well done to everybody who had a hand bring you this book to us, the audiobook listeners.

I recommend the series
