Either way, my life as I know it is forfeit . . . but at least this way, I'll be able to choose my own fate. Or, so I thought.

it's a great listen I've always had a weird fascination with death and meeting him in person and this is like a weird middle school emo me a thrill lol

A lackluster story at best

The story seemed lackluster, and felt (for a better part of the story)......lazy. I never felt the longing and love that is often portrayed in the writing styles of other popular novelists.

Surprisingly Good!

I absolutely loved this book! It also pulled from my love for Beauty and the Beast in a way and I was glued to it to the very end. Every time I missed something because of work, I'd rewind just to make sure I didn't miss anything.

Loved it

Death meets kindness in someone who has experienced too much cruelty. But will he be her death too? Loved this story - need more now!!

On to the next!

Definitely a slow burn, but I feel like it’s going to explode as the series goes on. Can’t wait to start the next book!
