Liked the story. Hated the profanity. Maybe I can find an online documentary that is fit for family.

Very informative and thorough walk through of a game a lot of people played at McDonald's. We all dreamed of winning but who knew the game was already stacked against us. This book shows the players, the investigators and how the investigation shakes out.

Great story, awful narration.

This is read by the authors, so I don’t expect it to be perfect and polished, but I would expect the authors to know what their sentences mean. Sometimes things are read in such a way that you have to think back on the words spoken to figure out the real meaning of the quote because the narrators emphasis gave the impression that the sentence was heading in a completely different direction. (Think Oh When you’ve made a shocking discovery vs Oh honey, everything will be alright). One of the narrators also has the stranger cadence I’ve ever heard. Consistently pausing at odd places in nearly every sentence. You get used to it, but I spent a decent amount of time thinking about the narration rather than the story. I missed the detail of how the capper was actually pulled off, but am unwilling to go back and register to figure it out.

Loved the juicy bonus material to the series!!

The series McMillions was not only shocking that it was a true story, but the people were all so intriguing, this gives that extra richness to who they are, and Agent Mathews is so extra,..hilarious.

Very compelling story of normal people getting caught up with greed. I usually save my audio books for morning and evening commute. I even listened whilst walking the dog
