This episode features the owner and founder of VCPM, Inc. and Game Changers, Vanessa Peralta-Mitchell. Vanessa is a runner, coach, and visionary leader for the global running community through her group and organization Game Changers. Vanessa’s journey is one of coming to running, to fill a gap in her life and to honor many of the amazing trailblazing women that came before her. Welcome to Run Build Grow hosted by Andrew Ware. Thank you for joining us as we explore the communal spirit of running. I this episode, I interview…myself (and yes it is a bit weird haha). I share a lot about my running journey, and somewhat ramble for a bit. This episode covers a bit of the heart behind why community has been such a pivotal part of my running journey. I explore the unrealistic expectations we often hold ourselves too, and how we can be better about recognizing our place in the whole rather than trying to be who we aren’t. I would love if you would help support me and the podcast.
