A Simple Floral Bonnet

Who knew that wearing a simple floral bonnet would change lives forever? Elizabeth Bennet is in Hyde Park with her cousins when two men attempt to abduct her. Their target was another young lady, who was wearing a similar bonnet. The abduction is thwarted, but introduces Elizabeth to the Darcy siblings. She is afraid of losing her new friends if they knew the truth, she cannot return to her father's estate as Elizabeth has refused to marry her father's heir. But the Darcys have met Mr Collins, and they support her decision. What will happen when the parson refuses to accept that Elizabeth will not be his, all while the attempts to kidnap Georgiana Darcy continue?

Insanity takes over village

Is everyone nuts? Wickham, Collins, Lady Catherine, Mrs. Bennet and possibly Mrs. Young. With generational cousins marrying it cannot be a coincidence.

Elizabeth is living with the Gardiners in London.

This story starts with Elizabeth living in London after refusing the heir. Elizabeth is mistaken for Miss Darcy and is saved before she was taken. This meeting between the families leads to a friendship.
I loved that the Bennet family while mentioned was not in the story mostly.
This was entertaining and the voice was not annoying.

Mistaken Identity

Mistaken identity leads to love for Darcy and Elizabeth. Collins and Wickham are bad guys (as usual). Mrs. Bennet is mean and ridiculous.

Not a fan

AI (fake) voice didn’t work: insipid story; I couldn’t finish it though I rally tried!

AI is not a good reader

Although the story is plausible, having it be told by AI makes it difficult to know how is speaking as there is no inflection to the narration. It is rather monotone in natation.
