Let’s rant, shall we? Loved the rest of the series but skip this one. 👎🏻

The FMC was the absolute worst. Spoilers at the very bottom.

Very immature, super emotionally unaware and kept saying, “I’ve never thought about it like that,” every time the MMC said any obvious thing. 🤦‍♀️

GIRL. What. In. The. HELL??? All of your friends in the other books are badasses- you, YOURSELF gave excellent advice in the other books in this series, and then in your book you suck as a human.

*******Spoiler alert*********

she gets sick bc she was around 4 yr old kids and then decides she doesn’t want to be a step mom because of it. Yeah. 🙄🙄 It’s the FMC’s fault she procrastinates her OWN book deadline, but when the kids get her sick right before the book is due, she decides she can’t be a stepmom bc “ew germs.” Everyone knows kids are petri-dishes, but sure, use that as an excuse for your existential crisis.

There’s a lot of stupid crap like this in the book. The dad is hot. He’s a delight, but this FMC RUINED the books. The other 3 in this series were 5 star reads for me, too.

Poor writing. Boooo.
