About the Creator and Performer

Sterling K. Brown is an actor with three Emmys and one Golden Globe award to his credit. A graduate of Stanford where he received a B.A. in acting, Brown went on to get his MFA at NYU. He is well known for his roles in The People v. O.J. Simpson, The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel, and This Is Us. He has a major role in the recently released film, American Fiction.

I've never been one to listen to podcasts but was desperate for something to help me go to sleep! I found these. I have listened to a few of them but I keep coming back to this story! it is just an amazing mix of voice and background music and story! I listen to it at least 3 times a week and I've never made it to the end of the story before falling asleep.

I liked how calm and serene it made me feel. I felt as though I could feel the emotions of the birds... and dog as it watched the birds in the birdbath. Very well done.

Nothing was left out of the story. Great story for sleep time planting a great sleep experience. The calming voice of the storyteller really adds to the story.

I use these Audible bedtime stories alot but this one is in regular rotation along with The Tree. The story is VERY sweet, but Mr Brown's voice cannot be topped for it's tender and soothing quality. verrrrry relaxing.
