The quirky main characters. Great story line

This is the second time I have listened to this series. I like the story and characters.

Intrigue, comedy, and a little romance

Love the main character and her spunk, toughness, attitude, humor, and loyalty to her friends. The supporting characters are great. And the narrator's voice is perfect. I've enjoyed every book so far and look forward to the next book.

Witty

Loved the crossover with the Poppy Perkins series. Really funny repartee although Charlie is very juvenile for her age. I’d like to see her mature a bit as time goes on.

The tasing is getting a bit old. Charlotte should have heart problems by now! Also, doesn’t make sense that she’s out of shape and not doing some self-defense training. Nobody is that lucky to survive the number of tasering and beatings Charlie has in such a short time.

Reminds me of the Miss Fortune series by Jana DeLeon. Another favorite of mine.

The narrator is excellent!! I wouldn’t have enjoyed the book as much without this narrator. She makes the characters come to life. The voices are individual, and her comedic timing is right on point! I’ll definitely look for other reads by this narrator!

Bit bloodthirsty but good

Well now! The dark side of Charlie is quite dark indeed! She leaves a trail of bodies with literally no remorse. Oh well! It was a funtastic story all the same!

Charlie's maturity

Charley grows up in this story. She's come a long way. It brings the original story arc to an end. I love how the previous title fliwed right into this one.
