love the narration

I love the narration but not the story. From the beginning the story seemed problematic. On day one shes making sexual comments to her boss... in front of other employees. Talking about the past, he was 20 and she was 16 when her brother beat him up for them "being together"... well yeah... and her continuing to ignore the no office dating and making comments to him... just felt super skeevy

Was not dissappinted

The storyline was remarkably authentic, immersing me in a world that felt genuine and lived-in. I particularly appreciated the author's courageous approach in depicting the main character's internal struggles, adding depth and realism to the narrative. The portrayal of the harsh truth—that attempts to prevent certain events can sometimes inadvertently bring them about—was handled with nuance and honesty. This exploration of complex moral and emotional dilemmas made the story profoundly compelling, highlighting the unpredictable nature of human actions and consequences.

Developmentally Engaging

Good storyline and character development. Characters pull you into their grappling with emotional content

I liked the narration but the story was very frustrating. I didn’t like the instant lust. You would think that it was about teenagers instead of adults.

I feel like it could have been better maybe just not my cup of tea

I really didnt like the FMC she applied for the job just to see him again and hitting on him to the point it even made her coworkers uncomfortable. He even told her from the start no office romances were allowed in the work place but she didn't stop and wasn't subtle about it. Not cute glances flat out making inappropriate joke about his body in front of the staff. More if a heads up before you read.
