Hockey omegaverse!

I loved the narrators! This was such a fun hockey omegaverse! I loved that there was a female alpha and male omega!

I liked this story a little bit better than I like the first story in the series

I liked this story a little bit better than I like the first story in the series. I’m not gonna lie and say that I loved Piper in this book because I did not. She seemed incredibly selfish, she was pretty immature, and just seem to get on my nerves more than anything. However, I did love Owen so so so much. And I did love Alexi. I’m also a sucker for a male omega. And there was just enough drama and intrigued in the story to keep me entertained. And of course, the spice is great.

The Journey of Acceptance and Unconditional Love

This was such a bittersweet journey for this pack. They each went through their own hardships to get them where they were. The patience and perseverance of Alexi made everything possible. His certainty and protective dominance is swoon worthy. It’s just perfection and I can’t wait to read the next book in the series!

FMC is Piper, Charlotte's best friend, she is an alpha
MMCs Alexi, Captain of the Foxes NHL team and also an alpha
Owen who is an omega pretending to be a beta so he can play hockey

omegas are not allowed to play in such a violent sport because omegas are weaker and need to be protected
but Owen hates that so he takes smell blockers and suppressants to hide his trunk self
Alexi finds out what he is and helps Owen to hide it but also takes care of him
Alexi wants Piper and Owen in his pack
he has been ready for a pack for years, he is 42 and wants to retire from professional hockey so his sets his purpose to get them both
things out Piper and Owen are sent matches
Alexi is not but he still wants both in his pack
Owen triggers his heart cycle and during that 7 day thing Piper bonds with Owen
Alexi wants to win the cup for Owen before he bonds with him
stuff happens, Owen gets drugged by a guy on the team to make Owen mess up the game so he can get back his position that Owen took fair and square
they still win the cup but Owen passed out from those drugs and they take him to the hospital
he ends up fine and they end up bring the new coaches for the Foxes and coach the team, Alexi and Owen
the bad guy get thrown in jail for almost killing Owen by those drugs

great book, amazing audio

Narrators are amazing!

I will start with the narrators. Ash and Alyssa did an amazing job, just as they did in book 1. They brought each character to life and did a terrific job with the accents.

This book is a MMF or heck maybe a MFM I can’t remember which was first. But I will say there are definitely more MM scenes, and I’m not necessarily complaining because they were hot, I just usually like my reverse harems where they are all involved (and maybe a MM scene on the side!). Also, this one Piper (F) is an Alpha and Owen is the Omega (M) which made the whole dynamic seem a little off to me. This is the first one I’ve read like this so maybe it was just me. Piper seemed to need to be “carried” by the other Alpha a little too much in my opinion. Alexie (sp?) was amazing an Alpha! I loved him!

The book was hot, give it a try! You don’t need to read book 1 but it’s great…you should!
