I loved everything about this book and loved the narrator and how different characters sound like different people!! Amazing job on both author and narrator!!

I love the found family and strong fmcs and love story and how we get multiple points of view

LOVE THE ENDING OF THIS DUOLOGY!!!

I’ve really enjoyed this duology, and it ended SO PERFECTLY!!

Sometimes the characters drove me crazy, but I adored them. The love, friendship, family and forgiveness was so beautiful!! There are a couple of people I’m glad did not get the happily ever after the others got, but truthfully they didn’t deserve it, they didn’t show the forgiveness the others did and that makes a big difference when it comes to happiness.

This was my first read by this author, but I’m won over!! The writing was so lush, with complex characters and wonderful world building!! Highly recommended!!

The narration was beautifully done and really brought life to the characters!!

Live like love

I almost love this love story more than Lou and Reed’s story, I have a soft spot for vampires and 1000 year old men. The cameos of all our favorite characters and the found family reminds me of the Lunar Chronicles series. I’m invested, and if Shelby wants to write about Filippa finding love I’d eat it up.

Is this the end? If so, it’s fabulous! If not, yay!!!

Celie gets her HEA. What a great conclusion to the world of vamps, witches, and Death. There were some shocks. A few new characters. Some giggles. A plot twist or two.
This duology brought back all of our favorites from the Serpent and Dove trilogy. While the story has an ending, there could be more! We have a few people without HEAs so…maybe the story isn’t over?
