Swimming With The Whale

The Miracles, Wonders and Healings with Daskalos & the Researchers of Truth

By: Daniel Joseph

Narrated by: Virtual Voice

Swimming with the Whale by Daniel Joseph, systematically introduces the reader to an ever increasing engagement with the research of truth. It is the calling of some but really it the necessity for all. To be successful in the material world or the spiritual world we must become more aware and more conscious, which requires research in the form of observation and study. The first benefit of researching the truth is it frees us from ignorance, fear and illusion that are at the root of our problems both in the material world and in the spiritual world. Simultaneously the research of truth brings us knowledge and wisdom. These are two different things. Knowledge is not wisdom but knowledge leads to wisdom. The System for the Research of Truth presented in the Swimming with the Whale Book will give you something far greater than regular knowledge which can be forgotten, it will give you experienced knowledge, which is something that you own, something that is a part of you and thus cannot be forgotten or lost.Of course the most important knowledge a Researcher of Truth can come to is who and what they are. Again this requires researching the truth in order to distinguish the difference between our constantly changing outer self (our personality) from our changeless Inner Self (the Soul). And this is the aim of the System for the Research of Truth as established by Dr. Stylianos Atteshlis who is more popularly known as Daskalos the Mystic of Strovolos. The. Swimming with the Whale book first introduces Daskalos as a young seven year old master and then reveals the 2000 year old lineage of the Researchers of Truth in this introductory workbook, Swimming with the Whale. This workbook guides your initial approach to these safe, effective and self-evident teachings and practices. Daniel began his training with Daskalos in 1989 on Cyprus and continues this work in North & South America

Profound Teachings

I liked the structure of it. He gives the teachings then the practice at the end of each chapter.

Clear unifying explanation of worlds of matter and dpirit

Daniel’s book about the teachings of Daskalos is so clear. It doesn’t feel like it comes from Daniel even, but Daskalos himself, which is a testament to how clear and connected the author is with the teachings and presence of Daskalos os. 30 years ago I read the books of another student so I am somewhat familiar with the concepts. But, this is the breath of fresh air this prodigal son needed to find the way back. The teachings on elementals/thought forms, at this point in my life, is enough to change my life forever. It explains the “why” behind meditations that only notice and then let go of (de-energize) thoughts; and why that is so much a feature of the teachings of the Buddhist lineage and continues with awakened masters like Tolle, Adyashanti, Angelo Dilullo, and so many more. I grew up not Christian so am pretty wary of more of faith without action or external works not grounded in inner awakening. Daskalos corrects all of that for me by emphasizing the spiritual laws or realities and, to the relatively limited extent that he discusses Christianity, always places it in the role of one mirror or lens through which greater divine spiritual hierarchies can be interpreted. Thank you so much to Daniel and Daskalos for bringing these lessons out so clearly.

Life Changing Truth

I will be reading this beautiful guide again and move on to the rest in Daniel’s series. I’m filled with gratitude for the information and hopeful that this will become a catalyst for expanding consciousness, self awareness and unconditional love.
