This title uses virtual voice narration

Virtual voice is computer-generated narration for audiobooks.
The Werewolf Shifter promised me my freedom if I played along with him.
But the longer I faked it, the deeper we fell, and the more my heart wanted anything but freedom.

I'm the pack’s most valued witch, trapped in servitude, craving freedom.
He’s a mysterious, smoking-hot wolf shifter exiled from his pack.

Now, he needs to overcome their rejection by pretending to be my fated mate.
Except I know it's not pretend.

Our genuine mating bond has been concealed by a powerful potion.
It's a thrilling masquerade but oh-so-tempting, and he's oblivious to the truth.

Activating the alpha bad boy's instincts changes everything–unleashing a storm of passion I can't control.
Unable to keep him at arm’s length, we give into the temptation only to crave more.

Now I must convince him that our bond’s real before the mark’s removed, rejecting me.
And the baby he doesn't know is on the way.

Will I break free from the pack's clutches and find my happily-ever-after?
It's time to cast my spell and find out.

Computer generated narration is one dimensional. Makes it harder to follow the characters, mispronounced words, etc, Please go back to human actor narration - so much better.

good story, computer generated narration not so great

Story overall linked well between past and current events and didnt leave any loose ends. Some interesting takes on masking magic and scent and how that affects a mate bond. Some werewolf stories can feel a bit repetitive and this one had enough new ideas that it felt fresh.

Virtual voice will never be as good as a real narrator but I didn't hear any mistakes in word pronunciation and nothing that detracted from the story, just didn't enhance the way a person may have. 3 stars on performance cause that part was average.

slight spoiler: I did think the lead female made a choice pretty quickly after promising the goddess she wouldn't, so that part was a tad anticlimactic but didn't really hurt anything just my personal preference. I also suspected the first twist but again didn't really detract from the story and there were still bits that were a surprise.

Cute read
