Inspired by real events, The Lady of Lake Como follows the story of a lieutenant with the Italian police who, during the height of World War II, is tasked with investigating the unsettling disappearance of two women from his small town. Wish I could locate an historical event that inspired this story. I've looked it up and cannot find information on it.
The author badly overused the phrase "threw his lips upside-down". such an odd description of what I can only assume is a frown.
Interesting story, but because I prefer reading about true events but can't find anything on this, I felt unsure of the integrity.

The narrator did an excellent job with accents and using his voice to imply the various characters.
