Beautiful, clean story

It was a delightful and clean romance that rivaled the first work in this duology.

Good story

Liked story. No swearing, no gross and graphic sex. There was Tenderness and Respect. Easy to listen to. Virtual voice was not too bad. I will look for this author again.

OK story

AI voice had little inflection and seemed to misspeak sometimes. Sometimes hard to distinguish the characters and the sentences were frequently punctuated at the wrong times. Not a good thing for an Audible book.

The computer voice was terrible. I really liked the story though. I will be buying the book.

Sweet HEA with interesting story line.

This was my first exposure to the author's work, and a lovely listen for me. I enjoy clean love stories that develop over time, and this definitely filled the bill. Cleo gradually forgot a lost love and grew to appreciate and love the husband who rescued her in more ways than one. Excellent character development and historical details, along with plot twists to hold interest. I also enjoyed the lesser characters and their interactions
