The mispronunciation of words made it very difficult to listen to. The stories seemed to be ineffective copies of Gulliver’s travels.

remember when it was written

for it's day it was an interesting read. early sci-fi writing is fun. but we are spoiled by today's writers.

Interesting but Flawed Narration

The story was quaint and engaging but the narration left much to be desired. So many mispronunciations that it got a bit distracting. Also, Chapter 32 of the Underground Adventures was missing. I had to find the book online and read the end of the story.
