The Virtual voice

I could not finish the story. The virtual voice does not convey emotion or space the sentences properly, sometimes mispronouncing words, leaving the reader to guess what was intended. It was unlistenable. Please use human audible narrators!

AI narration flat and un-listenable.

I think this story would have been right up my alley, but I will never know. I had to stop and return the book because the AI narration was in -listenable. I gave up when the flat, monotonous delivery drove me over the edge along with frequent mispronunciation.
I hope the author will never let Audible talk her into AI narration again. There are so many great readers who add depth and clarity to the storyline, it’s a shame to to give their job to a computer.
