Great storyline-kept my attention

Liked the story, however, I believe the AI reading took away from the overall rating.

The AI voice was aweful

I didn't like anything, the story was aweful, predictable, and odd. From the beginning the story didn't make sense.

Unfortunately, for the author, the virtual voice did not do it justice. The story was good, but there was just no emotion whatsoever in the virtual voice. It’s probably a good read.

I heard this was based on a true story.
This was a suspenseful and sad story. Joe lived his whole life thinking he killed Caitlin. The guilt and secrets he was carrying around were causing him a slow descent into a very dark place. Sad because had he not been so young he may not have covered it up the way he did and found out the truth, that it wasn’t his fault. Caitlin’s family would have had closure.
Still, to do what he did after to cover it up and then going on to marry her sister takes a certain, very calculating person.

Virtual voice ruined the book

Overall, the story was entertaining and towards the end I really wanted to know how it was going to end. But the virtual voice ruined the book for me. It was so hard to get into just because of that.
