WOW!

This story was written so well! I love mafia romance and this one just parked at number 1 on my list ♥️ the story is full of action with the right amount of sexiness. The narration is 💯. Of course, jason Clarke and Rose Dioro never disappoint. Is it worth the credit? ABSOLUTELY ✨

Good cartel tale. Lots of twists and turns!

When Landyn finds herself as payment for a debt her father incurred with a drug cartel, she can’t believe she’s being forced to marry someone just to satisfy her father. A shootout happens, then the wedding, and it all goes to hell from there. Landyn is determined to keep her head up despite her current situation. Brax soon discovers his meek bride isn’t that at all, and she’s keeping him on his toes.

There are a lot of twists and turns in this story. I liked the pace and the characters were great. Yes, there’s obviously violence, but the banter is pretty good, too. As Brax and Landyn get to know each other, they both surprise the other, and that worked well into the story. Landyn is not a wallflower. I loved her sass, and even though she was basically a prisoner in her new home, she was determined to make it as pleasant as the situation allowed.

Jason Clarke and Rose Dioro were fabulous with their narration. Anytime you get an uber-alpha Jason Clarke yelling and screaming, it’s a great story!

This was the first book in The Agents series, and my first book by Brynne Asher. I’m really looking forward to continuing this series.

Epic Love Story

Lots of tension, resolve, love, soulful honesty between a man and a woman. Mmc turns out to be fiercely protective for his lover and "wife". he is gutsy, brave and cool under dangerous pressure. Fmc has many difficult truths and situations to deal with. Jason Clarke's narration is low, rumbly sexy. Fmc did great job, too. she had a pleasant female voice not one of those breathy ones nor high-pitched hard on the ears. lol.
please read the first book in this series. you are in for a wild ride with lots of action!
