A random act of kindness brings two strangers together.

Ember Reeves works as a waitress to pay the bills, while dreaming of becoming a famous actress. She’s saving her tips and working a second job at the local community children’s theater until she can catch her big break. While she’s bustling around the diner, handing out the breakfast special and filling coffee cups, her much needed miracle is about to happen. A stranger, or so she believes, is about to change her life with one random act of kindness.
Hayes Wayne, the middle son of a famous movie director and horse trainer for the motion picture industry is heading home, taking a break from the Hollywood scene. A few days on the Lone Horse Ranch is just the remedy he’s looking for. Hayes wants calm and quiet, but instead finds himself cast into the limelight with a beautiful waitress he can’t help but be attracted to—until he discovers her career ambitions. Hayes knows not to fall for Ember Reeves, but there’s something about her he can’t seem to ignore, as if she were part of the script to his life, one he’s powerless to rewrite.
