Way too long and drawn out. Kind of sappy. Nothing out of the ordinary. But it was free.

The story

Hated the virtual voice commentary Too monotone and couldn’t tell difference between speakers at times.

Good Story - Don't like AI Reader

First book from this author and I enjoyed the story and characters. The pace was good and kept me listening. The only complaint is the clunky AI reader. The voice was emotionless during conflicts and life or death situations. A shout or yell was deadpan and it would take a moment to understand the emotion of the character.

Would listen to more books by this author.

Not really interested in listening to another AI reader drone through the story.

Virtual voice was terrible

I couldn’t really listen to the whole story as the droning voice was so distracting. There was no tension no buildup no emotion no suspense. Glad it was free and I didn’t pay for it.

The story seemed like it would have been very good. The voice was deadpanned and emotionless. I found myself repeating lines to get the feel.
