Sequel to the popular The Hawaiians, by Steve Stelle, the story of Dr. William Goode in 1830's Hawaii continues. Malaria has come to the island and the new miracle drug, quinine, is only available in revolution torn Peru. Runaway slave, Paris Carter, has been spotted in Honolulu and a questionable southern gentleman is intent on collecting a reward. From the Galapagos Islands to the jungles of Peru, across the Old Santa Fe Trail, and through the Texas territories to a last stand at a well known Texas mission, continue with the adventures of the unique array of characters that author, Steve Stelle, is known for. Rich in details of history, blended with fast paced action, peppered with philosophy, and a smorgasbord of food for thought, this book will keep you thinking long after you finish reading. Join the early surfers of Waikiki and their growing families and fortune for a nonstop, historical roller coaster ride. From whalers to Comancheros, from the early concepts of Darwin's origins of the species, to the secrets of Simon Bolivar's legacy, and what really happened to the famous congressman from Tennessee. This is the best serving of historical aloha you can find. Historical Fiction Action & Adventure

First book was wonderful so thought I would listen to series but author apparently has issues with Christian believers and about 2/3 done I stopped. Too bad author started inputting Darwin beliefs and dissing Jesus. I won’t be purchasing his books

I didn’t finish as author started dismissing Christianity
