A wonderfully sweet story of finding a family.

This is a story about hurt people finding each other through a long journey together. The characters are deep, their backstories well thought out, and the world they inhabit built for us through conversation instead of long lore dumps.

It is sweet and gentle. With the narrator doing a wonderful job bringing the characters to life.

Beautiful and warm story

I have been all about cozy vibes and found family trope so this book was perfect. I loved learning the struggles that Tap faced being an immigrant but then the people she met along the way didn’t even think twice to befriend her
Overall a beautiful and warm story that made me long for more. The narrator did a fabulous job as well. I can’t wait to read more from Julie in the future!

An easy story to listen to and love about unlikely friendships and overcoming adversity. Would recommend!

Good little road trip

This episodic story has lots of fun images and ideas, but the format of the story structure made it so nothing ever was explored more than a passing light moment.
