Story was probably ok but the virtual voice ruined it

Virtual voice was awful . Difficult to follow characters and pauses were not honored. Could not finish the story. Bring back Ann Richardson.

I don’t like virtual voice.

I loved the book but I don’t care for the virtual voice one little bit!

Great mystery slowly unwinds, piece by piece...

Loved this intricate mystery. Suspenseful as it slowly unwraps, each piece of the puzzle slowly revealed. I love Blair's strength and determination to solve her brother's death -strong heroine. Christian is smart, strong and caring, but a work in progress. He makes a lot of progress in the book and you get to experience it with him. Well-written! These books keep getting better! I have nothing to add about virtual voice that others haven't said -bad cadence, incorrect pronunciation, etc, but I focused on the story and I was able to enjoy the story.

Hate audio voice!

The audio voice is distracting, it does not put the right emotion with the words most of the time and reads it with the wrong emphasis on the wrong words. It reads like a computer would sounding like a robot!!! I drive a lot and use audible books but other than the ones I already purchased from this author, I will not be getting anymore as long as the audio voice is used. At least when a human reads it they even sound more like men and women. I wish people would stop replacing humans for machine especially in this case!!!

Enjoyed the book; did NOT enjoy Virtual Voice

I enjoyed reading this book and the characters in this series. I did NOT enjoy this Virtual Voice at all!! The book had lots of entertaining suspense and action and a clean romance. I enjoyed the Christianity woven into the story. I will never buy another Virtual Voice book beyond what I, sadly, already purchased.
