When did the weird become my normal life?
That's Tony Mandolin's feeling when he has to deal with the original Count Dracula…and a massive hangover…at the same time.

What does a rumpled private investigator do when the original vampire—the one with the cape, the accent, and a grudge older than California—shows up at his door, demanding help to reunite with his estranged, "teetotalling" vampire family?

Tony Mandolin, San Francisco's go-to PI for the supernatural set, figures it's just another day in Fog City: dodge the fangs, nurse the headache, and keep his cross-dressing enforcer Frankie from turning the Count into a pincushion. But when family drama turns deadly, with Bain telling Tony he has to deal with a rogue Dragon, Tony realizes this isn't about awkward reunions—it's about survival.

Teaming up with the immortal pain-in-the-neck himself, Tony navigates a labyrinth of undead grudges, from dark magic racketeers in the Castro to a meeting with a dragon in the library. Someone's staking out the old bloodlines, and if Tony doesn't crack the case, he'll be the next course on the menu—hangover or no.

With the life of everyone on the planet at stake, Tony must find the dragon and kill it before it lays its eggs, and Vlad Drakul wants to help.

All Librarians are Dragons, but not all Dragons are Lbrarians.

I discovered Tony through the Graphic Audio performances. They were fun, the characters has real personalities, and the stories were entertaining. This is my first experience with Virtual Voice, and while it delivers a better than expected experience, there is very little difference between the characters, and very little emotional inflection. While it doesn’t ruin the story, it does take away from the overall experience for me.
