Cathy can see demons. Nobody else can, or even believes her, which is why she’s restrained in a mental hospital. That is, until she discovers she has the power to teleport through time. Now unrestrained, she meets Wes, the only other person who can see the demons. But using these powers comes with consequences.

From the demons, from the government, from Angels, and from a homicidal woman named Kline with powers stronger than Cathy’s who tells them the horrible truth about themselves - they aren’t entirely human. Cathy and Wes are half-angel, with all the trouble that brings along with it.

Can Cathy, Wes, and even Kline learn to utilize their angelic power to stop an ancient God from re-asserting its destructive power over Earth? Or will their simple existence as hybrids be too much to keep the balance of power in check?

Very intriguing storyline

I love the way the characters Interacted with one another other. Also, I loved the ending of the story. The author did a lot of research on this one. It is very well written. And the narrator is excellent.

Excellent narrator

The narrator's performance was top notch. Every character had a unique and believable voice, and the lines were read with the appropriate weight or levity.

A solid supernatura/apocalyptic read

This was a good story which includes supernatural, mythological and apocalyptic themes. Definitely something I've not come across to this point. Well worth the purchase

Dark fun, for everybody.

I was given a copy of this book in exchange for an honest review, and this is the raw honest truth. This yanked me in from the start. You never knew where you were going to end up and what direction Farmer was going to take this crazy train but you wanted to hang on for the ride just to see where it ended up. You don't need a map, but, I'd suggest you keep your eyes open, because you never know what lurks just on the other side, and, what may, follow you through. Matt nailed it, and the narration was spot on. Henry did a fabulous job, and I think I've caught his narration before and it was awesome as always. I can't wait to see where this goes. A great premis wasted onn biblical mumbo-jumbo

This book could have been so good if not for the need to connect it to the bible. While I have nothing against the bible, the connection here is loos, halfhearted and makes the book a cliché. So much so that I had hard time listening to the last one hour.
