"Rockers who love horror (or horror fans who love rock and roll) should give this tale a listen”—Library Journal

Evil in Me is bestselling author Brom's newest novel of possession, damnation, and rock 'n' roll, where one woman must get the world singing in order to save her soul.

Aspiring musician Ruby Tucker has had enough of her small rural town and dysfunctional family. But a falling out with her best friend and bandmate has killed her dreams of escaping and making it big in the Atlanta punk scene.

While helping her eccentric neighbor organize his religious artifacts, an ancient ring clamps down on her finger—possessing her with the spirit of a blood-thirsty demon. There’s no exorcizing it unless hundreds of people chant a spell to set Ruby free. And what’s worse, the ring is a beacon for evil, drawing an unimaginably wicked mob straight to Ruby, hungry for her flesh.

If Ruby can get her band back together, she has a shot at salvation. It's time for her to face the music and put her whole soul into a song—one powerful enough to raise some Hell.

I grew up listening to punk music feeling like a weirdo just like Ruby… and wow words cannot describe how much I loved this book. Even downloaded the song on Apple Music! Thank you so much Brom! ❤️

Absolutely love this book!

Nuff said… awesome listen. Narration was on point. Why do they put a 15 word limit on reviews. We’re not the ones writing a novel.

I didn’t think anything would top Brom’s book “Krampus” but here we are. Absolutely 1000% recommend.

Another triumph by Brom

This was a very unique audiobook. I wouldn't necessarily recommend it to anyone who hates punk rock, but personally it was a very enjoyable listen.

I Discovered Brom about 6 years ago through the book “Lost Gods” and fell in love with his description of the underworld, all its logistics, and fantastical demons. It today, still remains my favorite book of all time (I even named my son Gavin, inspired by one of the books characters).

Krampus, probably my second favorite had the greatest narration I have ever heard in an audiobook. The story was solid and intriguing. You wanted Jesse to pull through so so bad.

I had to have more BROM somI delved into Child Thief, although I already listened to it once I remember loving it. Then came Slewfoot, it was decent, I think if I re-listened I would enjoy it more. I was so excited to hear that Brom was working on another novel called “The Evil In Me” that I preordered the audio book. I feel like the characters were flat in comparison to all his other amazing novels. I guess the runaway teen musician with a mean stepdad vide just didn’t do it for me. I was looking for more of the “this General guy is effin insane (Krampus).” Therefore once again I am awaiting his next novel hoping for the desire to reread multiple times. Evil In Me just wasn’t that book I was hoping for.

Love Brom, Not my favorite of his.
