Things have reached a critical point in the Middle East. Carter agreed to serve as a consultant for his old Force Recon unit but, for reasons unknown to his friends and family, jumped from the command center and into the field. I find it really annoying after 25 books that this narrator still cannot pronounce the k in asked. really tired of listening to "assed".

The Miss Fortune series continues to be as entertaining as the first book was. Jana Deleon continues to create great stories for this group of Sinful residents.

It flowed & even if a little unbelievable at times, really good plot. Kept my interest…couldn’t turn it off. I’m happy Manny played a significant part in the story.

I thought the rescue of Carter was a condensed version, but maybe more detail would have been too gory.
All in all, another great Sinful story with the usual Celia and Gertie escapades plus new excitement. Can’t wait for the next one to come out!
