The book moves forward in time to when these students are l successful and respectable family men who every year enjoy a hunting trip to a secret cabin in the northern woods. Revealed there as cold-blooded psychopath predators, skilled hunters fearing nothing and totally at home in the woods, they kidnap, hunt down and brutally kill humans. Until, this year they discover they have become the prey, and in turn are being hunted by a predator more dangerous than any one of them. To the last page, readers will find that just when they think they know what is going to happen, the author throws a curve ball, right up to the final and haunting ending.
