love this series. full of amazing characters and the story is just getting really good. can not wait for book 3

Good 2nd book

If you're past book 1 you're probably on board with the story. I just have to say, Jane, learn to say no! It's okay to say no dear!

Got that out of my system.

Fun listen

Only bad thing I'd say if the level up notifications announcing the discarding of Exp...very nearly painful everytime.

Willful ignorance as a plot driver is frustrating.

The author for some reason has decided that the MC will just not communicate with other people as a way to drive the plot forward. Pretty much the main conflict at the end of the book would be solved with a few words and I refuse to believe a real person would be so willfully ignorant and uncommunicative. It is unfortunate because I enjoyed the series until this point.
