Clean romance in amazing storyworld

I've been wanting to read SITS ever since the author released the cover more than a year ago. I continued to hear great things and then it won some big awards, so I snagged it on Audible. Two different narrators perform the two POV characters, and I enjoyed the female reader a lot more. Her accent for Tallie was perfect and she had a great range of voices. The male character sounded a little old for the age of the character and it's always a little funny to me when the guy does women's voices.

The story is an epic sci-fi romance. Hendryx pulled me into her exotic space world, starting with the fantastical circus—so fun! Each setting was unique and fun, and while I met a range of characters, I was glad than none were strange in an off-putting or creepy way. Note, the romance is front and center in this story. It's clean (nothing beyond kisses) but there's a lot of physical attraction and may go too far for young readers.

I was never bored and constantly found myself hoping for more. I loved this book! I can’t wait for the next one!

made me a sci-fi fan

Fantastic! This story was exciting from start to finish. Talie is strong and smart she is able to think fast and act on her feet. Renner is more then he lets on for sure a cinnamon roll I love him fierce protective and brave. We meet some great characters along the way. I loved the greatest showman vibes with the circus such a great concept. I really enjoyed the narrators for the audio book to Jane is phenomenal and Magnus his voice was perfect. Both draw you in and make the characters come to life. This story definitely left me ready to read book two to see where we go!
