Superbly Easy to Understand

I am on my second listening of this book and I have nothing but praise for it. I never heard of this fellow, Guy Bacon, but he knows his subject! He also is able to explain the subject with a tremendous clarity that leaves out nothing essential but includes nothing superfluous. I have been struggling to understand Christial Gnostic thought for awhile but Guy Bacon took me through the confusions like I was a ship sailing on calm seas. I have listened to another of his books on Audible, his book on Valentinoan Gnosticism, and his style in both that book and this one have been the same; the books consist of small sections commonly two to four minutes long on Audible, that are strung together like pearls on a string of pearls, and as one listens it all comes together easily. I will listen to everything written by Guy Bacon that's offered on Audible, probably several times over for each book. The reading is by AI but it is one of those AI readings that is better than most readings by human beings; in fact, the AI voice is quite pleasant but slow the reading down to 70 percent speed for best effect.
