Paranormal investigator Joanna Davis faces her most chilling cases yet in this gripping tale of restless spirits and buried secrets.

When a desperate mother hears eerie voices echoing from her daughter’s empty bedroom, she turns to Joanna for answers. The whispers seem to come from nowhere—but their sinister message is clear.

At the same time, Joanna is called to Florida by her own mother. What begins as a simple visit turns into a haunting investigation when Joanna discovers a spectral old woman staring out of a condo window, pleading for help. Who is she, and what secret does she guard in this former homestead?

Follow Joanna as she navigates a web of ghostly clues, unraveling mysteries that span generations and uncovering truths that refuse to stay buried.

Can Joanna bring peace to these restless spirits, or will their whispers reveal something far darker?

Perfect for fans of paranormal mysteries and supernatural sleuths!

This story kept repeating what happened in previous books. No real mystery or much ghost activity. A tad boring.

Not much of a story

I have listened to all three of his R. K.’s books now and I have to be honest. He needs a solid editor who can help him better frame or outline these stories. The first book was okay, but the second and third books were both lacking in direction and good content. It was like asking for an ice cream sundae and being handed a bowl with just whip cream and nuts.

The stories are easy to follow, but they are written in such a boring manner that the ghosts within them are meh! Nothing pulls you in. For example, the use of the ouija board in this story. It was the most exciting part of the book. It perked me up thinking, oh this is going to be good, but instead, the storyline went flat in five sentences. That should have lead to an amazing ghost story where the lead character had to dig deep and battle the dark entity that loomed around a girl’s bedroom. There should have been more terrorizing going on vs, oh yeah, we played the taboo board game, and now we are burning the game because it’s bad. Hand slapped.

Additionally, the sidebar ghost story took over the original main story. Also boring.

I am not sure if O’Brien is suited for this genre. It seems to not be.

Virtual voice sucks, but it is doable.

O’Brien needs a good editor
