Love this NEW SERIES!!!!

I just found this author (Sam Baron) and his two book series (so far) three days ago. After purchasing and finishing the first book (The Therapy Room) I immediately purchased andthe second (The Murder Club), this book. If you haven’t listened to The Therapy Room already I would suggest listening to that book first.

This is an intense series and I sincerely hope this author continues it. The protagonist Susan Parker is a female FBI Special Agent with a hearing impaired seven year old daughter. She lives with her daughter and sister-in-law who is former military. One year ago her husband whose heritage is from India was murdered. She still has no idea who the perpetrator was but in her off hours when she’s not working as an agent she continues to investigate his death. There appears to b a connection between his ultra wealthy family and what happened to him but we have yet to find out the answer. In the meanwhile both books are excellent procedurals.

Lauryn Allman does a great job narrating both books. The second book shows that it’s narrated by the author but it’s not. Ms. Allman narrates both.
This book and series have my VERY HIGHEST RECOMMENDATION!!
