Personalities and Story Line

Someone gave this a 3 in rating. Usually ratings influence my decision to read. So glad I decided to read anyways. Someone basically didn’t like storyline about abuse. Tough storylines often make a book great if handled properly and truthfully. This author was fantastic. This book was extremely good. People’s lives are all very different and it makes a great story reading about how they deal with horrible issues that are forced upon them and how they find a way to heal. Yes there is sex but it’s a story about a romantic relationship. This is part of it.

I rarely give a review but I had to address that other review.

this was a awesome book.held my interest the whole time, I would love more books like this one.

Good book

I enjoyed reading and listening to this book. I read it on my Kindle and listened to my audible version of the book. I think the book was very well written. I really liked the character development, but I definitely felt sad about some of the things that happened within the story. It was very hard to put the book down because I wanted to know how things would progress and then how the ending would go. Overall, a good book, but sometimes sad to read because of things that happened to the female lead character and her brother. I am glad though that I read the book, I did like it!

Really strange

First of all I did like the way the story started.. but from there it disintegrated into a story of really awful child abuse and the survivors as adults. For me the characters were so complicated and parts of the story so raw it wasn’t a romantic in any way shape or form. The narration was really not good. The narrator was so unconvincing in her storytelling. I will not most likely read any others by this author.
