Good story

The female reader try’s way too hard. She try’s to put emotion into her voice but it just makes it worse. Overall not a bad story

Love love love!!

I read this book before the audio came out and loved it!! I was so excited for the audio to come out!! I loved the audiobook so much, I just wish it was a duet style, but I get that it’s more expensive and takes way longer. I still enjoyed this audiobook!

FMC

I haven't finished the book yet. The female narrator is just so overly dramatic and makes the FMC sound so pathetic. if she toned it down a bit this would be so much better to listen to.

Unsure

Not sure how I feel about this. Danny was so wishy washy. Kinda drove me crazy. Ari was a mix. She was strong willed but could be a doormat at times. She let him get away with too much. What she chose to stand her ground on didn’t always fit with the current situation. That being said, I felt a connection to the characters. Strangely enough, I felt his feelings for her more than hers for him. I did not like her friend Meredith. I loved Emelia. Kane irritated me. I do want to read the next one.

Sucks you in

I loved it! I was sucked right into the story and finished it quickly. Immediately starting book 2. The voices really brought it to life.

Oh Grim!

I have came across this book and audio several times over the last year and just skipped it. Honestly I seldom listen to military or read military books. As a female veteran with 2 deployments, most of the books are so far off its hard to read. I was in a reading slump and this keeps popping up so I figured I would give it a try. First I read the book, then I bought the audio. DO NOT skip this one. It definitely pulls at the heart, it's dark, it's honest, and damn Danny is HOTT and oh so sexy and broken, the sex is dark but works for them. There is definitely a cliffhanger but I was already prepared for it.

The. Entire. Book!!!

I wish it never ended!! Seriously…. FINALLY!!! A book that had the perfect amount of spice, suspense, just.. everything!! One of the best books I’ve read in years, hands down.

A puddle of goo

I cannot even fathom of how much of a emotional roller-coaster I went on!! The MMC pissed me off as well as the FMC but I I fell in love with them all the same!! the storyline the way I found out that this isn't the true end!!!

Loved the story….

God, I cannot stand the female narrator! Everything is SO dramatic, even walking from one room to another. So annoying, I could not even finish it. Her voice is like nails on a chalkboard 😖
