The Baron Sherazad sent me as far away from Eslant as possible. Now, I’m stuck in the middle of nowhere, in a nest full of enemies, with only a demented mimic and a renegade elf to watch my back.

Arrdeam’s rulers are determined to keep their civilians weak and under control, but that won’t work for me. Me, Melina, and Chester need to grow strong…strong enough to defeat all our enemies and to one day make our way back home to get our revenge. Strong enough to survive the mysterious corruption that’s sweeping through the world.

And if anybody tries to stop us? Well, Chester’s always looking for his next meal.

I liked this book better than the last. Chester is my favorite the scene with him as a ball was my favorite

Great cast

Loved the support and voice cast. The editing makes the book sound like I have a show on in the background.

I love the world building.

I loved the way the story progressed and the world continued to be built out. The growth of the characters is good and believable. Also, kinda want my own mimic now. Shout out to another excellent SBT production. Amazing quality as always by that crew.

Fun Time

The narration was impressive. Chester's a bit over the top at times but still quite entertaining. Some characters are a bit underdeveloped but I'm sure they will be expanded on in future volumes.
All in all, a fun time.
