Good story, but…

I loved the stories, but can’t hardly stand the virtual voice. Many books have been done this way in the Audible library lately, some are ok they have some personality others including this one is Manto and it pauses longer after each sentence than if someone is reading it. I use Audiobooks because have problems reading, I love the stories that either someone is actually reading it or if it is or have to be please pick a virtual voice that sounds more like a real person with character. I don’t like it saying every time “I said, Tom said….” that’s not a good mood setting. If it wasn’t the stories that kept me interested I would have quit after the first paragraph in the first book.

Virtual Voice Ruins the story

This series is ok, but the virtual voice really detracts. The virtual voice is quite flat, doesn't distiguish the characters properly and the timing is off- detracting from the characters and making the dialog very difficult to follow.

the dull AI narration

AI narration is, to me, a complete failure. it runs sentences together, doesn't know the difference between now and know and is boring due to the lack of intonation. The stories aren't much better. The author uses many of the same phrases repeatedly and similar scenarios in each book. An example is the interviews with persons of interest.

Virtual Voice

The story might be good but the virtual narration is so flat and hard to listen to. I can’t finish the first book in the series. Will not be listening to any other virtual voice books.
