Virtual voice bummer

I had to stop at chapter 5 as I could not listen to the virtual voice anymore. The story was good and I might look for it at the library to read myself.

rough draft

I have read a lot of books by this author and while they are good wholesome romance novels, the basic scenery is the same for virtually all her books. Most of her series are stories set on a nontraditional ranch designed to help the community and offer therapy services. However, this series seems to be the hardest to listen to because the grammar is so bad. The stories are constantly changing from first person to third person within the same scene for the same person. The verb tenses are also changing from one sentence to the next. Something like 'she looks at him and smiles...' to 'he gazed at her'. My daughter and I decided that it sounds as if the rough draft or brainstorming stage was published. As is common with virtual voice, character name pronunciation is constantly changing and words that can be pronounced multiple ways (ex. read) are often the wrong pronunciation.

Good and community. Faith and friendship. Values and goodness

Christian based, I love that. It makes me think of things in a bigger picture. Helps me to think deeper in my own life.
