Cupped Hands Magic Tears: In the Beginning

Maeve was born from star magic to the enchanting land of Ire. She learns the gentle magic of the land from her mentor, Nok, who teaches her the old ways of yore. But change is approaching and she will have to use her magical skills and her wits not to get caught in the grasp of the invaders from the east across the water. Most everything she loves is soon destroyed in the meeting, but using her star-magic in cupped hands, and magic tears, in a last ditch effort to survive, she destroys the company of foreign soldiers and transports herself to another land far away where she finds herself as the soul of a tree in the beginnings of the Oak Grove of Maeve.
