Story sounds like it has potential. AI voice is excruciating.

I cannot with the AI. Love Hugh howie’s world of the silo, and was hopeful in this iteration…but while the story sounded interesting, the AI voice made continuing impossible. Real human narrators please!

The adaption of the story

Overall, I like the story. The part I didn't like was the change in character and events related to Donald Keene. Since this is in the Silo universe, it would have been nice to keep his character the same; but if you separate it from the original Silo stories, it's pretty good.

Story followed the other books well

The AI voice was bad. It missed words. It did not put the correct emphasis on phrases. And there was no inflection to give the story heart.

Not up to professional standards.

The conversations between characters are more liked back and forth orations. Very stilted and not at all lifelike. The artificial reader also is poor.
