Ruben “Doc” Cavazos grew up in a Hispanic street gang in Los Angeles and would later rise to national president of the Mongols motorcycle gang. He quickly transformed the Mongols with L.A. street gang members to boost membership even though many had never owned or ridden a motorcycle. This was the beginning of the end for Cavazos and other Mongols that were involved in criminal activities including drug trafficking, killings, and other violent offenses leading to his arrest by federal authorities in 2008 on racketeering charges and later sentenced to fourteen years in federal prison.
This is the rise and fall of Doc Cavazos former national president of the Mongols and disgraced outlaw biker.
